We'll offer you oral hygiene instruction, and perform thorough cleaning, periodontal scaling, and polishing. Cavities, oral cancer screening and bone loss can be detected at your regular check-ups. Depending on the severity of the problems, we can recommend more or less frequent cleanings.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Teeth may become stained and/or discoloured for a variety of reasons. We provide teeth whitening kits as well as veneers, crowns, bridges and composite restorations to solve this issue and keep our patients smiling.
Restorations (Fillings and Bonding)
These are used to fix cavities, worn down and/or broken teeth and are usually done with tooth coloured material.
Crowns and Bridges
When teeth need reinforcement due to large restorations or root canal therapy, crowns are recommended. Crowns protect the exterior and interior of the tooth drastically decreasing the chances of fracture after root canal therapy. Bridges, similarly protect teeth and are used to close spaces when one or more teeth are missing.
Dentures
Both partial and complete dentures are made when all or some teeth are missing. They can restore smiles, reinforce bone and improve function while eating.
Orthodontics
Appliances are provided for minor dental crowding, crossbites and others. Comprehensive orthodontics are referred to an orthodontist.
Implants
Implants are used to replace a missing tooth / teeth. They can be restored with crowns, bridges, and dentures and function just as a normal tooth would.
Root Canal Treatment and Endodontic Therapy
Root canals are performed when the nerve inside a tooth is infected, usually due to dental decay or trauma. These are usually done in one appointment with minimal discomfort. Crowns are always recommended after a root canal to reinforce the tooth.
General Oral Surgery
Services include but are not limited to teeth removal including wisdom teeth, bone grafts, implants, and biopsies. Extremely complicated cases may be referred to a maxillofacial specialist.
Periodontal Surgery
Minor gum surgery or simple grafting may be done in our office. Comprehensive or complicated cases may be referred to a periodontist.
TMJ Disorders, Night Guards and Mouth Guards
TMJ malfunction is a common issue affecting many adults. It can be caused from clenching or grinding of the teeth and as a result, night guards are recommended. We also make mouth guards for contact sports which when worn, reduce the chance of injury to the oral cavity.
